Competition Days

Dates for 2020 to be advised

Some important information for all competitors and spectators to observe on Competition Days.

Competitors

  • All horse trucks and floats should use the entrance marked for their use (ie the southern entrance).   When in the parking area, horse trucks should go to the eastern end of the park.

  • We rely on everyone to park in an orderly fashion, and leave the roadway clear.  This will help to ensure there is enough room for everyone.

  • Please do not park in front of a horse yard if you have not booked a yard. This area is reserved for those who have booked a horse yard.

  • You should clear your area before you leave each day - that is make sure all rubbish is placed in the bins provided; manure cleaned up and disposed of etc.  And don't forget to check you have everything before you leave the grounds.

  • There are 2 hose down areas.  Hose down areas are to be used for horses only.  No shampooing is allowed in these areas; and we ask you not to linger in the hosedown areas particularly when there are a number of competitors waiting to use it.

  • Camping?  Find more information on the 'Location' page

Spectators

  • Please keep your dog on a lead at all times.

  • Observe the events in a safe way - check

    • before going on to the 'hill' to observe the cross country competition;

    • before moving between obstacles on the cross country course;

    • for riders going in to a dressage or show jumping arena

And importantly for all

A canteen operates during all days official events are held.  Supporting the canteen supports SAHT Inc so that it can improve the facilities for you.
